Important: Our clinic does not accept vision or medical insurance. We offer reasonable pricing and can provide a detailed receipt for out-of-network insurance reimbursement upon request.
When coming in for an appointment as a new patient you can expect to spend about an hour with us in the clinic.
We begin by having you fill out your patient intake forms when you arrive. Please try to arrive about 10 minutes before your scheduled exam time to fill out all needed information. You can also complete your forms prior to your appointment online.
Next we will take measurements including: eye pressure, estimated refraction, and current prescription if applicable.
Then we will ask you more about what brings you into the office as well as test your vision and examine the front and back of your eyes.
Dilation is included in all exams and recommended for our doctors to be able to do an in-depth comprehensive test.
Dilation will make your pupils very large, resulting in light sensitivity and you might have some trouble reading at near.
Post-dilation sunglasses are available following your exam. If you have never been dilated before, we recommend bringing someone with you who is able to drive. Patients have the option to decline dilation.
